# readSsrGrants \[Lift SSR-embedded channel grants]

```ts
import { readSsrGrants } from "rxfy-client";
const grants = readSsrGrants(); // string[]
```

Returns the grants embedded in the SSR hydration payload — one per channel the server render logged
into ([`sync.hydration(registry)`](/framework/server/grants) signs them). These are the grants the
client lifts and subscribes to on hydration, so the first paint stays in sync without a round trip.

On a CSR-only load there is no SSR chunk to read and it returns an empty array; grants then arrive with
each fetch instead. You rarely call this directly — the React bindings do it for you — but it is
exported for custom hydration wiring.
