# rxfy-client \[The framework-agnostic browser sync runtime]

`rxfy-client` is the browser half of the sync stack: it connects a WebSocket
[transport](/framework/ws) to a `ModelRegistry` so inbound server pushes land in the normalized
stores — it applies `patch` messages to entities and tracks `stale` counters per state channel.
Nothing in it is React-specific, so it runs from vanilla JS, Vue, or Svelte too.

`rxfy-react` depends on it and re-exports `createSyncClient` / `readSsrGrants`, so a React app imports
them from `rxfy-react`; everyone else imports from `rxfy-client`. For the React wiring
(`StoreProvider`'s `syncClient` prop, `useSyncClient`, and the update handles), see
[Sync Client in React](/react/sync-client).

## Install

```bash
npm install rxfy-client
# peer deps: rxfy rxjs
```

## API

* [`createSyncClient`](/framework/client/create-sync-client) — connect a transport to a registry;
  subscribe with lifted grants, apply `patch` / `stale` messages, and renew grants before expiry.
* [`readSsrGrants`](/framework/client/read-ssr-grants) — lift the grants the SSR render embedded, so
  the first paint stays in sync without a round trip.
